Slightly further afield, enjoy the stunning architectural gem of Portmeirion, take a historical trip to Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site or enjoy the industrial heritage of the Blaenau Ffestiniog slate works and steam railway. For something a little more relaxing, a day on the beach perhaps? Beach lovers will find the beaches at Barmouth, Harlech and Fairbourne very accessible from here.
