The property
Gwrtheyrn is a traditional 14th century semi-detached farmhouse, once the home of the Lords of Gwrtheyrn, and is believed to be one of the oldest houses in Wales. This charming cottage is a perfect base from which to explore the many attractions and beaches the area has to offer and would suit couples, friends and is also great for families. The house has a wealth of original oak beams and panels, beautifully complimented by more modern handcrafted oak ledge and brace doors with wrought iron furniture, modern kitchen and bathrooms and lovely soft furnishings. Lovingly renovated and restored offers an extremely warm Welsh welcome, the charm and character is in abundance, starting with the sitting room which has plenty of comfortable seating and boasts an impressive inglenook fireplace with open fire. The kitchen is well-appointed with integrated appliances, extending to a well-proportioned dining area is a lovely place to sit as a family and enjoy a late supper or a more leisurely breakfast before setting out on a day’s adventure.
