Start your day with a cup of coffee in the suntrap conservatory before travelling to Dolgellau, which is the area's closest centre of amenities. Grab your hiking boots when you're ready to explore and climb Penygader (Cadair Idris), or take the New Precipice Walk/Llwybr Llanelltyd route for lofty views of the national park. As you make your way to the shore, stop at Arthog Waterfalls first, before taking a ride on the Fairbourne Railway, a stroll along Fairbourne Beach, or playing a round of golf at the Fairbourne Golf Club. In addition to being a well-liked beach resort, Barmouth offers a variety of amenities, or head inland to hike through the Abercorris North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve and visit the Corris Mine Explorers.
