The nature and wildlife surrounding the cottage are incredible, nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; spend time spotting porpoises, dolphins, birds, and gorgeous wildflowers in the spring. Ornithologists will delight in spotting Wheateaters, Choughs, and Stonechats. The local beach, which can be seen to the left, just prior to the private drive up the peninsula to the Lighthouse, is a hidden gem called Traeth Eilan. Just a short walk from the property, this stunning rocky beach is reminiscent of a smugglers cove, with rugged cliffs protecting this secluded cove and providing mill-pond conditions, perfect for your morning wild swim, paddle board adventures or sea kayaking.A quick stroll along the coastal footpath brings you to a lovely sandy cove called Llaneilian, which is ideal for bathing, rock pooling, or just having a relaxing afternoon. Travel south to reach the attractions of Beaumaris, with its 13th century castle, bustling pier and the Beaumaris Gaol and Court ready to be explored, whilst further activities lie near the border, including Pili Palas Nature World, Plas Newydd House and Gardens, and Anglesey Sea Zoo.
