The accommodation is well-located for exploring, with a cosy lounge and friendly owners. However, issues include cold and damp areas, outdated decor, limited space, and occasional noise from an attached workshop. The stay was enjoyable overall, but improvements are needed, especially for colder months.

A cosy stone-built cottage tucked away in a peaceful courtyard position, yet only 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Betws-y-Coed with its shops, pubs and restaurants. Tastefully restored by the owners to offer accommodation of a high standard, Royal Oak Farm Cottage provides a wonderful holiday retreat. The owners live in the nearby farmhouse and personally welcome visitors. A superb base for exploring Snowdonia at any time of year!
