Caernarfon 2.8 miles. Located a short drive south from Caernarfon in the small village of Bontnewydd, Tyddyn Parthle is a superb holiday home. Based down a quiet lane, this home-from-home is ideal for a family of six and provides you with a place boasting peace and tranquility. The cottage has been carefully thought out with a mix of home comforts and contemporary touches along the way. The sitting room has charming seating with a TV and DVD player, making for an all-around lovely space; switch on the electric fire for some extra warmth. The kitchen is well-equipped with fridge/freezer, range cooker with five-ring hob, and an array of small appliances, making cooking a breeze! There is a dining area with table, chairs and a wood burning stove to keep you warmed up during your long, joyous meals. All the bedrooms are located on the first floor with master bedroom offering a king size, a lovely double room and a bunk room that is suitable for children. The outside has two seating areas with views over the rolling countryside, for you to soak in as you savour a glass of wine. Spend the day in Bontnewydd where you can explore the stunning Gypsy Wood Park, before continuing to the historic town of Caernarfon, where the picturesque Victoria Dock, impressive Caernarfon Castle and an array of pubs, eateries and shops nestled by Seiont River await. Visit the village of Llanberis, with its fascinating National Slate Museum, Parc Gwledig Padarn and Llyn Padarn and Llanberis View Point waiting to be explored. Why not take the family for an outing in the bustling town of Bangor, and visit Garth Pier, climb Bangor Mountain, and try your hand at putting at the local golf club. There is a huge amount to do in the local area from visiting The Welsh Highland Railway to exploring the Snowdonia National Park, which are all on your doorstep.
