On entrance, you’ll find an open-plan kitchen with integrated appliances and a large island, perfect for displaying your feasts, as well as a lounge/diner with a woodburning stove you can cuddle up by on colder days. The lounge’s double doors open to a patio furnished for your summer picnics, and at the back of the house, an enclosed garden. There’s an additional sitting room with another woodburning stove, TV and plush sofas, should you want to break away from the rest of the group to read a book beside the fire. Finishing off the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious bathroom fitted with both a bath and walk-in shower, where you can freshen up ahead of a day out. As the sun sets, retreat upstairs to the twin or king-size rooms, or make the most of the master bedroom with Jack-and-Jill access to the family bathroom and a balcony overlooking the property’s beautiful plains. A short drive will lead you to a local bistro to dine in, convenience stores if you need to stock up the fridge, and when the sun is shining, pack some lunch and head over to Lleiniog Beach Picnic Site. In the nearby town of Beaumaris, you can visit the historic Beaumaris Castle, or enjoy coastal views and take a stroll on the boardwalk at Beaumaris Pier. If you’re feeling more adventurous, take a boat trip from the pier to Puffin Island. Driving down to Caernarfon you’ll find dog-friendly activities such as visiting Dolbadarn Castle, and Llanberis Lake Railway where you can take a scenic, five-mile steam train journey along Lake Padarn, in the heart of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia).
