The property
Gwenallt is an original mill workers cottage dating from the 1700s.
The mill still stands in the field behind. It has been kept in character as much as possible. A multi-fuel burner with back boiler is set in the original stone inglenook in the lounge/diner. Portable electric radiators are also available. Beamed ceilings low in places. There is a double room plus a single room for a third guest. Pretty private garden with mature weeping willow tree and table and chairs. TV/DVD player, microwave,toaster, oven, fridge, freezer,washing machine. With pubs only a short distance away, a leisurely afternoon can be spent here, plus there are also wonderful forest and coastal walks from the village, a cafe serving afternoon tea, the Anglesey Race Track is nearby. Just a short drive away are beautiful beaches at Llanddwyn, Aberffraw, and Cable Bay. Rhosneigr is also worthy of a visit. The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path passes nearby and the kids will love the activities at Foel Farm Park and Anglesey Sea Zoo. A unique holiday experience.

Power included and a logstarter pack for the log burner inc. in rent, further logs would need to be purchased locally by guests eg at Wayside shop in Rhosneigor. The property does also have some portable electric radiators. TV with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Enclosed lawned garden to the rear with patio and furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Roadside parking. Anglesey Sea Zoo and Foel Farm Park within 10 miles. Caernarfon and Beaumaris Castles are also only 20 miles away. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: There is slightly reduced head height in the bathroom and on the stairs.
