Venture out to the nearby Morfa Bychan, just two miles away, an area rich in history, with its long expanse of beach sand backed by dunes. Here you’ll find the majestic Harlech Castle, or if you’d prefer, take a short drive to Porthmadog and take yourself along the cobbled streets to the harbour for panoramic views across the Snowdonia National Park. For a day out, why not drive slightly further to Criccieth, a seaside town with a castle perching atop a cliff face or journey to the town of Caernarfon, brimming with attractions such as the Caernarfon Castle, Segontium Roman Fort and the National Slate Museum.
