From the front door there are a number of signposted walks, including a beautiful riverside walk along the Afon Dwyfor, whilst you can stop off for a refreshing pint at the Tafarn Y Plu, which is just opposite the property. Head to nearby Criccieth and explore the 13th century Criccieth Castle where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding town and coastline from the castle’s vantage point, or head to the beach and relax upon the sands, build sandcastles and take a dip in the sea. Further afield, uncover Porthmadog, home to the Maritime Museum, Borth y Gest Beach, the Black Rock Llamas, offering treks and petting experiences, whilst the Snowdonia National Park offers plenty for those outdoor enthusiasts.
