Llanberis is popular with explorers as it offers the starting point for the ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales' highest peak, which can be reached on foot or by train on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park boasts a breath-taking natural landscape with endless walking, cycling and climbing opportunities, as well as an abundance of wildlife and a host of exhilarating attractions, such as Zip World and Bounce Below. The popular tourist spots of Bangor and Caernarfon are a short drive away, as is the Menai Bridge, which you can cross to discover the magnificent coastline and stunning beaches of the Isle of Anglesey.
