Take advantage of your amazing location and explore Llanberis, where you can delve into history at the National Slate Museum settled in the World Heritage Site of the Dinorwig Quarry and the fascinating 13th-century ruins of Dolbadarn Castle, take to the waters of the expansive Llyn Padarn with an excellent selection of watersports on offer including kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, or simply sit back and relax as you soak up the views with a ride on the Llanberis Lake Railway. Walkers and climbers alike will delight at the selection of walking and climbing opportunities available, including the famous Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) which can be accessed via a selection of walking trails, or if you came for the views but don’t fancy the hike, hop aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway which will take you along a scenic route where you will pass waterfalls and the beautiful ruins of a church before reaching the summit.
