The property

Llysfaen 0.9 miles. Nestled on the outskirts of the traditional North Wales village of Llysfaen, found just a short drive from the breath-taking coastline is The Wren. This annexe-style accommodation is perfect for couples seeking a snug getaway to the area, where there is plenty of things to see and do. Soak up the far-reaching views over the Welsh mountains and towards the sea before heading up the steps and into the contemporary holiday home. Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, a light filled room, boasting plush furnishings and a refreshing colour palette to ensure a wonderful space for you and your loved one to return to each evening. The kitchen area is equipped for you and your partner to cook up a storm before settling down at the breakfast bar to tuck in and toast to a romantic getaway. During a winter’s evening, flick on the electric fire and sink into the L-shape sofa, choose to tune into the TV or plan the next day’s adventure. Tucked behind the sofa is a plush king-size bed, complete with a spacious wardrobe to store your belongings and a freestanding bath, if you fancy an indulgent soak one evening before bed. Continuing to impress is the outdoor area, complete with a balcony where the views can be admired with a cup of tea in the morning, alternatively, head to the patio area and dip into the bubbling hot tub to gaze up at the stars come evening. Concluding the outdoor area is ample off-road parking and storage space for bikes and other outdoor equipment. Take a short drive into the village, where you will find a shop for picking up the essentials, as well as a brewery and a takeaway. Further amenities can be found in the town of Colwyn Bay, as well as a number of attractions including the Welsh Mountain Zoo, Bodnant Gardens or walk along the promenade where you will find opportunities for fishing, sailing, and jet skiing. Continue along the coastline to visit the seaside resort of Llandudno, home to two beaches and a 1902 tramway, which travel to the summit of the Great Orme. Close by is the walled market town of Conwy, where you can visit the medieval castle, stroll along the castle walls or meander the many, quaint shops. For those feeling more adventurous, head to the Snowdonia National Park to climb the highest mountain in England and Wales, or for thrill seekers, there is Zip World Forest to explore. Or for a beautiful amble walk some of the North Wales path, partially coastal, this path has some breath taking views looking of the Irish Sea. The Wren offers a wonderful retreat that will see you returning, year-after-year.
