Take a day trip to the nearby town of Llangollen, home to astonishing range of amenities to suit all tastes and things to do, including strolling down the Victorian Promenade or explore the World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Other attractions within the town includes, taking a leisurely steam train ride, a ride on the horse-drawn canal boats or hiking up to the remains of Castell Dinas Brân, which overlooks the town.
