York House is a wonderfully-presented, three-bedroom cottage tucked away in Thornton Dale amidst the beautiful North York Moors National Park. Just paces away from the local amenities, with original features throughout and an enclosed courtyard, York House is the perfect homely escape for families, friends or couples looking to explore the wonders of North Yorkshire. Upon entering, you will be welcomed by a homely, contemporary atmosphere, ideal for relaxing and unwinding with your loved ones. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the essentials for a week away, so you can easily rustle up your favourite dishes. Enjoy a hearty meal together at the dining room table or take the conversation out to the enclosed rear courtyard, where you can spend long summer evenings dining alfresco and admiring the view. When the stars appear overhead, escape to the sitting room and curl up on the plush sofas in front of the Smart TV, perfect for catching up on your favourite shows. When it’s time to turn in, you’ll find three bedrooms on offer. The ground floor king-size bedroom is great for those with limited mobility, whilst the two further bedrooms, a super-king-size and king-size, both boast a homely and inviting atmosphere. There is also a shower room on the first floor, ideal for freshening up after a day of exploring. York House is a 300 to 400 year old traditional York Stone property, it has many original features including thick stone walls, low beams, large open fire, Yorkshire Slider windows and a ‘Cruck’. Discover Pickering, a charming market town with local attractions such as the Pickering Castle, Beck Isle Museum and Ropery, along with a selection of boutique shops and traditional pubs.
