A stone’s throw away from the cottage is a superb selection of pubs and restaurants which are certain to satisfy all tastes, as well as a number of shops for picking up the essentials. Only a few minutes drive is the beautiful sandy beach at Skinningrove, which is dog-friendly throughout the year. Also in Skinningrove is the Mining Museum and the KasKane cafe.
