Adjoining the Wolds Way, this immaculately presented property has been beautifully renovated to the highest of standards, to delight the most discerning of guests. Well placed for enjoying both the seaside and the Wolds countryside, it provides the perfect holiday home for families or friends to spend time together in a wonderful corner of the country. Retaining much charm and character, from the painted white beams to the exposed stone walls, there is a spacious sitting room with a feature brick fireplace housing a cosy woodburning stove - relax on the squashy sofas and toast your toes by the fire! Additional comfy seating is in the small snug, a peaceful spot to sit and curl up with a book. The dining table is situated in the bright and sunny orangery, where you can throw open the doors and let the fresh country air in. With a well-equipped modern kitchen, there is plenty of scope to prepare wholesome family meals. Outside, there is the choice of two enclosed areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine in; a sheltered gravelled garden and a lawned garden, both overlooking open farmland. Nearby Hunmanby is a popular historic village, with excellent amenities, including pubs, eateries, independent shops, tea rooms and a lovely deli. Just five miles away is Filey seaside town, always a big hit with the children. The long, sandy, safe beaches are truly magnificent, whether it’s building sandcastles, crabbing in the rock pools, or riding a donkey. Amble along the two promenades, hire a beach hut for the week, or take an exhilarating cliff top walk on Filey Brigg. With the stunning countryside to explore and the larger coastal towns of Scarborough and Bridlington just a few minutes’ drive, this superb property provides a wonderful base, anytime of the year.
