Scarborough has its own museum and art gallery, as well as the incredible Scarborough Castle, and there is access to many coastal walks that head towards Heyburn Wyke Waterfall and beyond, following the Cleveland Way. The North York Moors National Park is a great spot to mountain bike, birdwatch and hike, with options including trails through Wheeldale Roman Road, Blue Man-i'-th'-Moss and Mulgrave Castle. The lovely seaside towns of Staithes, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay are also well worth a visit, offering a variety of amenities and attractions.
