Entering the house from the courtyard, there is a small stone flagged hall, with space for coats and boots, leading to the spacious farmhouse kitchen, the heart of the house. With an oil-fired ESSE range and induction hob, it is a lovely space to cook, gather, eat and relax. The oak table seats twelve easily and there is a smaller breakfast table that can be added to seat sixteen. There is a woodburner and French windows leading to the walled front garden, with terrace. The ground floor has two sitting rooms, one with a woodburner, a piano and a wide selection of board games. The second sitting room has a smart TV and original working shutters. There are five comfortable double bedrooms in the main farmhouse (one on the ground floor), with views of the garden and the landscape beyond, and two en-suite bathrooms and a family bathroom. There are a further three double bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room in the attached converted barn. The barn has a fantastic first floor open-plan living and dining space, with original wooden beams and a woodburner, ideal for a celebration get-together.
