This Grade II listed, three-storey cottage is situated in the heart of the fascinating market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. The courtyard has comfortable patio furniture where you can enjoy alfresco dining or your morning coffee in the warmer months, easing yourself into the day by reading the paper. Both bedrooms in this Pickering cottage can be found upstairs; the boutique-style master bedroom offers generous proportions with a king-size bed, cast iron fireplace, original wooden floor boards and a charming window seat where you can watch the village life go by. Next door is the bathroom, where you’ll find a bath with an electric power shower overhead. Head up to the second floor to discover another large bedroom, offering twin beds, which can also be configured as a super-king, if requested. Pickering is well located to enjoy a wide range of attractions, including Eden Camp, Flamingoland, Rosedale & Helmsley. Pickering is the home of the famous North York Moors steam railway that winds through the heather-clad moors to the village of Grosmont, ending in the beautiful sea-side town of Whitby. Dalby Forest is the perfect place to picnic, or explore on foot or by bike and if you have a head for heights ‘Go Ape’. If you fancy a day at the beach, resorts of Sandsend, Whitby and Scarborough are less than a forty minute drive away. The history and splendour of Castle Howard, or the city of York make for a great day out for the whole family.
