Awaken from a leisurely slumber with a rinse in the shower room, before preparing a coffee and heading out to the patio furniture for a morning ponder. You might even be tempted by the luxury of the hot tub, starting the day with a relaxing soak. Get to know the surrounding area as you wander over the neighbouring hills and luscious open countryside, or if you’re seeking a bit more adventure, head to the North Yorkshire Water Park, with inflatable courses, kayaking and paddleboarding, a zip line, climbing wall and wakeboarding as well as the Wykeham Lakes Fishery where you can hook your catch of the day. If you fancy a night away from the kitchen, head into Scarborough and if you don’t fancy cooking, treat your loved one to an evening meal at one of the nearby eateries, such as El Gringos, for Tex-Mex cuisine, or Lezzet Mediterranean Bistro, for a Mediterranean sharing platter.
