With off-road parking, contemporary fixtures and an enclosed garden, Keepers Cottage is perfect for a couple or small family looking to explore this delightful part of Yorkshire. The open-plan living space boasts a light and airy feel; perch on the settee and catch up on Netflix from the Smart TV or cross over to the kitchen and rustle up something delicious, making use of the Aga cooker. Serve up culinary delights at the dining table before heading out the patio doors and basking the evening sunshine from the patio garden. As the night grows darker, head upstairs and take comfort in the bedrooms; the master occupies a generous super-king-size with en-suite bathroom, so you can enjoy lazy soaks after a long day, whilst the second room offers a single bed with en-suite shower room. Opposite lies the Half Moon Inn pub, an excellent gastropub serving a selection of ales, wines, hearty grub and a weekly steak night. A little further on lies the village of Wilberfoss, where you can find your nearest convenience store and butcher, ideal for grabbing the essentials. Within the surrounding region there are plenty of attractions to box off, including the fascinating Yorkshire Air Museum and the magnificent Castle Howard. Visit the array of charming market towns in close proximity including Beverley and Malton. The beautiful medieval city of York is 9 miles away and home to a variety of independent shops, traditional Old English pubs, restaurants, the famed York Dungeon and the beautiful, 7th century York Minster, considered one of the finest cathedrals in the world. If you fancy a day on the coast, take a scenic drive over the Moors to Whitby, where you can spend an afternoon on the beach and explore the medieval abbey, whilst Scarborough, with its bustling seaside atmosphere and range of attractions, is also worth a visit.
