Nearby Malton is one of the county's most renowned foodie destinations famous for its local produce and hosts an excellent farmers’ market. Helmsley is a picture postcard and it is easy to see why it recently achieved the title of 'Britain's Best Market Town'. The North York Moors National Park is a short and pleasant drive and is home to the largest continuous expanse of heather moorland in England; stunning!
