Following this very scenic route, visitors can enjoy Glenfinnan, where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his 'Royal Standard' in 1745, and also see the Jacobite steam train passing through on its route to the west coast. Continue west and you will find the wonderful white sands of Morar and the busy fishing port of Mallaig where you can take a boat across the sea to the Isle of Skye. Fort William is a short drive from your Highland holiday home and here you will find excellent shopping opportunities and an array of outdoor pursuits to suit all ages.
