You can also take a boat trip from the seaside village of Seahouses, to the Farne Islands, where you will see an abundance of different birds including puffins. If its shopping you’re after, why not visit one of Europe's largest shopping centres, the Metro Centre in Gateshead which offers all kinds of shopping and entertainment.
