Within walking distance of the bustling coastal village of Bamburgh in Northumberland, Quarry Haven is an attractive stone-built property which is ideal for a family on holiday or a small group of friends. The sitting room has that real ‘wow’ factor with attractive wood flooring, extensive seating, feature floor-to-ceiling windows and bi-folding doors opening onto the gardens, all adding up to create a really welcoming space and is somewhere you can imagine spending a lot of time together chilling out and getting into the holiday vibe. The spacious kitchen/diner is a really sociable space with a fully fitted kitchen and breakfast island where you will find everything needed to produce delicious food for the whole holiday party. Guests can pour a glass of their favourite tipple and keep the designated chef company in this wonderfully social area and when it’s time to serve up, the stylish dining area is set up ready to host long, leisurely meals. If the sun is shining, then the outside space is a delight to spend time in with gardens to explore and a patio area with loads of furniture just asking guests to spend awhile to really make the most of the property’s superb setting. When it’s time for bed, guests can choose from three well-presented bedrooms with the master bedroom being a particular feature with a sumptuous king-size bed and a fantastic Juliet balcony. Other towns worth visiting in the region include Alnwick, Seahouses (just a few miles away) and you can even head to the border and visit the ever-popular town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Activities to look forward to in the area include golf, sailing (from Seahouses to the Farne Islands), birdwatching, hiking, cycle rides and horse-riding.
