Children will especially love the owner's donkeys and chickens. On the ground floor you will find a utility room, close to an open plan kitchen, with an AGA cooker, a breakfast bar and dining table. Here you can prepare your favourite meals. On this floor, you will also find a super king-size double bedroom (can be a twin on request), elegantly designed with bedside tables and lamps, and a wet room with a rainfall shower. The living area is where you will want to be, relaxing on the corner sofa in front of the wood burner for a peaceful night in. Light and airy, this space is perfect for feeling right at home. The stairs from the living room lead to a twin bedroom which can be a king-size on request. A separate staircase leads to a further four bedrooms, two super king-size doubles (can be twin bedrooms on request), a triple room with bunk bed and a single bed, and a family room providing even more space for extra guests, accompanied by a classic en-suite, and benefiting from the nearby family bathroom. For those looking to plan an even bigger adventure, the adjoining Ostler's Cottage, boasts a characterful mezzanine and an open plan living area for those wishing to enjoy some peace and quiet away from the main cottage. Here you will find an additional ground floor super king-size double (can be twin on request) and an adjacent wet room with rainfall shower. The wood burner will ensure a cosy stay all year round. Outside you can rest in the wonderful hot tub or enjoy a refreshing drink in the far-reaching garden. The village of Cheddleton will make your afternoon all that more special, near to the market town of Leek, with a handful of shops, pubs serving food, a tea room and a restaurant with a coffee and waffle house. Alton Towers is less than a 30 minute drive away and throw in the mix of walks, cycle routes and rock climbing, you will be returning year after year.

NOTE The approach to the property passes through pastureland used by a local dairy farm and you may occasionally be required to wait while the cows are moved. NOTE This property does not accept Stag parties. Hen parties may be arranged by request. The property is close to two excellent large wedding venues, the owners can put you in touch with excellent local caterers who give a first class personal service and can cater for special diets.
