The property

The Old Clockmakers is a 350 year old converted clockmakers workshop bursting at the seams with unique character and sitting in the very heart of the market town of Ashbourne in Derbyshire. In 1912 clocks made here set sail on a ship called the Titanic!
Lined with period features including some of the exposed 18th century floorboards, guests will find themselves in an excellent central location moments away from bars and bistros.

The ground floor of the property offers a well-equipped kitchen/diner; the antique wooden fittings have been rejuvenated with contemporary colours. Next you will step into the heart-warming sitting room, its walls are dotted with old clocks while the welcoming set up is dominated by an enticing electric fire, housed in a stunning period fireplace. A steep and narrow staircase brings you to the first floor where you will find a beautiful family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the fabulous layout. Adjacent to this rests a wonderful single bedroom featuring a stunning freestanding wardrobe, as its walls are lined with charming wallpaper.
