Summary
The accommodation is well-located, clean, and well-equipped with friendly staff. Guests enjoyed the dog walking paddocks, but some found the bed uncomfortable and noted a need for updates. Issues with hot water and the paddock gate were mentioned. Overall, many expressed a desire to return.
The property
A beautiful stone terraced cottage, in the heart of the village of Chelmorton in the Peak District National Park. Offering a delightful place to stay, this wonderful cottage boasts stone-flagged floors, open stonework to the walls, a 50” plasma screen TV, a PlayStation 3 and a Blu-ray/DVD player with a selection of DVD's on offer. Upstairs there is an additional 42” TV with a king-size sleigh bed making this the perfect cottage to cosy up in after a day of exploring all the Peak District has to offer. The bedroom window, best known as 'Sunset View' is the perfect place to watch the sun go down on a lovely summer's evening. Outside the cottage, there is a gravelled yard, with garden furniture perfect for all those summer barbecues. 1 Primitive Mews is a fantastic Peak District Cottage, one not too be missed! This property can be booked alongside Refs. 4439 and 4440, together sleeping up to 10 guests.
