For storing any outdoor wear or bikes there’s also a separate outbuilding. This outstandingly pretty and historic village is situated at the head of the lovely Vale of Hope. Famous for its Blue John stone, Castleton has four underground show caves: Blue John Cavern, Speedwell Cavern, Treak Cliff Cavern and Peak Cavern. Why not explore the imposing ruins of Peveril Castle which stands high above the village or enjoy spectacular walking and cycling routes this stunning countryside has to offer, including the highest peak in the area, Mam Tor?
