Whilst here, you may choose to soak up the scenery with plenty of walks across the moorlands to Ripponden, Mytholmroyd, Stoodley Pike, and Hebden Bridge; or take a gentler walk along a rural and peaceful section of the Calder and Hebble Navigation, The nearby Rochdale Canal runs for 33 miles, and the Tour de France route through Cragg Vale makes the Barn an excellent location for cycling, Just a short distance away from here are the charming market towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax. Halifax is home to some of Yorkshire’s most famous landmarks, including the Minster, Dean Clough, Shibden Hall and the Piece Hall, as well as the splendid Halifax Borough Market; there is so much on offer in this town, Slightly further afield is Haworth, where along the cobbled main street lies a number of quaint cafés and independent shops, as well as attractions including the world famous Brontë Parsonage Museum, where the sisters once lived and penned some of our best loved books, Other attractions within the surrounding area includes the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, Halifax Bradley Hall Golf Club, the Manor Heath Jungle Experience, and the Hardcastle Crags.
