Marsden also has a pretty Victorian park, cricket ground, golf course, yoga studio, gym, beauty and hair salons.
The nearby canal adds to the charm of the village and provides an easy walk/cycle/run to the neighbouring village of Slaithwaite with places to stop along the way. Heading in the opposite direction, by foot or water taxi you will reach Tunnel End. Britain’s longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel.
