Penlan Holiday Park has a heated swimming pool, a coffee lounge and a children's activity centre on-site, there is also Crazy Golf and a dedicated dog walking area, but if you can tear yourself away, visit the bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn which offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is the beautiful countryside, with Cenarth Falls nearby, but Cardigan and the Cardiganshire/Pembrokeshire coastline is also just a short drive away so you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, the wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay.
