Otter Cottage

Otter Cottage is a charming ground-floor retreat situated in Dinas Cross, north Pembrokeshire, between Fishguard and Newport. This simple yet cozy cottage is perfect for a couple or small family, offering one bedroom with a king-size double bed and a single bed. The bathroom features a bath with a shower over, a hand-held shower, basin, and WC.

The cottage includes a well-equipped kitchen, a sitting room with a dining area, and modern amenities such as oil central heating, an electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer (located in the garage), dishwasher, 43" HD ready TV with Freeview, CD/radio mini system, WiFi, and a selection of puzzles. Fuel and power are included in the rent.

Please note that Otter Cottage does not have a charge point for electric vehicles, and charging from within the property is prohibited. Bed linen and towels are provided, but guests are asked to bring their own cot linen and beach towels. A cot is available, though there is no high chair. The property offers off-road parking for one car.

Across the road, guests can enjoy one acre of grounds featuring a large fishpond, woodland garden, and garden furniture, perfect for relaxing outdoors. A ramp is available for easy access, and the spacious accommodation, double glazing, and full central heating make this cottage ideal for year-round stays. There is also bike and boot storage available.

The cottage is conveniently located near a shop and pub, both within a mile, and the coast is just 0.7 miles away. A nearby lane provides a pleasant walk to the small cove at Aberbach, where you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Nearby Pwllgwaelod beach is home to The Old Sailors pub and seafood restaurant. From there, you can walk around the magnificent Dinas Island headland to the little beach at Cwm yr Eglwys with its ruined church. Pentre Ifan and the Preseli Hills are just a few minutes' drive away.
