The property

Marloes 1.8 miles. Set before gorgeous views of the sea from its delightful position on the Pembrokeshire coastline, is this large, semi-detached house, offering a fantastic base in South Wales. Pickleridge View is the perfect property for a family gathering; catch up on old times with walks along the coast, exploring the Marloes Peninsula and the rest of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. With plenty of space on the drive, multiple cars can park up here for the duration of the holiday, take in the views of the waters before you step inside this lovely dwelling. Find yourself being welcomed into the first of two sitting rooms, each with two plush sofas, a TV with a DVD player and surround sound, and one home to a vintage arcade game; it's where you'll look forward to relaxing with your loved ones on quiet evenings. Call a meeting around the long farmhouse style table in the kitchen/diner, and discuss what the rest of the holiday holds for everyone, plan some walks and trips to the surrounding area, before getting an evening meal started. Find an impressive electric range cooker complete with an induction hob, for rustling up a feast for your group, and enjoy the convenience of both a washing machine and a tumble dryer for any laundry, tucked in the utility room. Let afternoons roll into the evening with everyone outside in the large enclosed garden, the children can play on the lawn while the rest of the group sit with a refreshing drink on the patio, the perfect way to end another day of your holiday. Also on ground floor is a twin bedroom, offering a homely spot for older members of the party or those who prefer not to tackle the stairs, to enjoy ground-floor living, served by a wonderful ground-floor shower room as well. Travel upstairs to discover the remaining bedrooms, with a king-size bedroom and a double bedroom with a Juliet balcony both boasting incredible views across the sea. Complete with light and bright decor, the bedrooms continue and include a further double bedroom, this one with an en-suite shower room, and a twin bedroom up here too. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the bath in the family bathroom, or a cleansing shower in the walk-in shower enclosure. Begin exploring the area by hopping onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, taking you around the edge of the peninsula to Castlebeach Bay, continuing over Watwick Bay, around St Anne's Head, and up to the sandy shores of Marloes Sands Beach. Find rockpools to explore at the western end of the beach, looking out as well for seabirds and seals. Catch a boat from Martin's Haven further up the coast to Skomer Island, a favourite for puffins with around 6,000 pairs, and island hop to discover the peninsula's rocky neighbours. Dine in The Lobster Pot in the centre of the village of Marloes, a traditional country pub, you are sure to enjoy a hearty meal and refreshing drink here, or pick up any essentials or ingredients from the local Marloes Village Store. The busier towns of Milford Haven, with its bustling port, and Haverfordwest, the attractive and ancient country town, are both within easy reach of Pickleridge View by car, meaning you have even more choice of attractions and days out.
