Heron Lodge is a well-presented pine lodge located in the charming village of Badwell Ash in Suffolk. Nestled beside a lake and surrounded by countryside, it is an ideal base for friends and couples seeking a remote and relaxing retreat but with easy access by car to the attractive market town of Bury St Edmunds. After spending the afternoon chatting in the sun by the lake on the swing seat, retreat to the lodge with its spacious open-plan living space where you'll prepare dinner for you and your loved ones in the fully-equipped kitchen while they keep you company in the sitting area. Enjoy your feast around the dining table or for a more indulgent dinner make use of the barbecue and the outdoor seating for some scrumptious, lakeside, alfresco dining. After the food settles, slip into your bathing suits and sink into the hot tub while marvelling at the surrounding views and the setting sun. Head back inside and unwind with a steaming shower before slipping under soft covers to catch some rest. All guests can fish year-round, day and night, from the mostly lodge-side designated areas located on Main Lake, Kingfisher Lake or Mill Pond; equipment and a valid Rod Licence are required.
