The property
Whether you're coming to Dornoch for a family holiday, to play the second best golf course in the world*, to explore the Highlands or simply enjoy everything this amazing area has to offer, Kerrisdale is the place for you. Positioned within walking distance of the charming town centre with its beautiful Cathedral, shops, restaurants, and award winning beaches - when it comes to golf it’s just a short walk up Golf Road to the stunning new club house and first tee of Royal Dornoch. Kerrisdale sleeps up to 6 people. Upon entering you will arrive into a generous hallway, with space to leave your coats and belongings on arrival. You will also find a downstairs shower room and loo. A nearby sitting room is homely and inviting with sofas and arm chairs where you can enjoy some peace and quiet. After the sun sets, why not gather everyone together in the dining room for an evening meal to discuss your adventures and those to come. The kitchen is just off the dining room, home to all of the appliances you may need throughout your stay, and a splash of colour to complete the layout. After preparing breakfast or dinner, you may want to relax in the sun room overlooking the enclosed garden, and the small table is a nice extra to the room. Take the round staircase up to the next floor, and you will find a well-appointed family bathroom containing a bath and a handheld shower. The king-size double bedroom hosts two bedside tables and promises a peaceful nights sleep with its calming neutral effect. A front-facing single bedroom is ideal for a child, and if you are bringing extra guests, the triple room sleeps up to three people. The enclosed garden is a lovely place to rest with a refreshing drink, particularly the gravelled seating area. Dornoch has so much to do with a great range of restaurants, pubs and shops to enjoy at your leisure. For those keen golfers, the Royal Dornoch golf course is not to be missed. Its timeless setting offers much appeal, an absolutely beautiful course engulfed by wild landscape scenery, with a pure white, sandy beach dividing the links from the Dornoch Firth. The town is also famed for its imposing cathedral and the coast is a favourite for wildlife spotting. The breathtaking Scottish Highlands!
