For fishermen, the Rivers Conon and Beauly are on the doorstep and are considered to be two of the most popular salmon fishing rivers in Scotland. The area is ideally situated for trips to Loch Ness to do some monster spotting, trips to watch the dolphins jumping on the Moray Firth or even a day on the west coast and across the sea to Skye.
