Nearby, nestled in Yorkshire's beautiful Nidderdale Valley is The Yorke Arms, an 18th century coaching house and shooting lodge, that boasts a Michelin starred restaurant with rooms. This superb cottage is ideal for walkers as it has the Nidderdale Way running past the back door and guests can visit Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge, Stump Cross Caverns and Fountains Abbey, a World Heritage Site. This charming holiday home is also close to the 2014 Tour de France route so people can experience the route and spectacular scenery that was screened worldwide and bike riders will relish following the route taken by the world’s cycling stars. Within driving distance are Grassington with its wonderful old town square, Harrogate offering a fabulous shopping centre and famous Bettys tea rooms and the canal side market town of Skipton.
