The cottage is positioned mid-way between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks, making it an ideal base to explore both. Upon entering the cottage you walk through a spacious hall into a contemporary open plan kitchen area with well-equipped kitchen units providing you with all the amenities you need to serve meals in the dining area, or on warmer evenings you can open the French doors and enjoy a meal on the patio. The sitting room lies beyond with a steam effect wood burning stove and a smart TV. There is also a W/C on the ground floor, just off the hall. The first floor of the cottage offers two double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with a modern en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is a twin room (which can be combined into a king size bed upon request) which also has an en-suite shower room. To the front of the cottage is a private parking area and to the rear is a delightful patio area within a private garden, where you can sit back with a refreshing drink after a day exploring. The pretty village of Kirklington has a charming pub, The Black Horse, which is only 100m around the corner from the cottage and has excellent local ales and home cooked food. Nearby is the town of Bedale, with a fantastic range of shops, restaurant and cafes. Also, the charming market town of Masham is close by as well as the city of Ripon with its cobbled streets and famous cathedral. There is plenty to keep you busy throughout the year.
