The property

Hidden away in the quintessential village of Cononley, 126 Main Street is an arresting stone cottage offering an idyllic retreat for two, to the North Yorkshire Countryside. As you walk through the door of this pretty cottage, be welcomed into a warm and restful open-plan living space with a gorgeous blue velvet sofa and striking woodburning stove, the perfect place to relax and unwind with your canine companion as you watch an enthralling movie on the Smart TV or make use of the library of local guidebooks and maps to plan your days ahead. Just a few steps away, a chic navy kitchen provides all the essential appliances needed to cook up a romantic meal for two, to be enjoyed at the intimate breakfast bar. At the end of the evening, retire to the beautifully decorated king-size bedroom on the first floor. Right across the way, a contemporary shower room with stylish black features and a fabulous heated towel rail offers a bright and airy space to prepare for the days ahead. Delight in your morning cup of coffee out on the patio as you breath in the fresh countryside air and look forward to the day's adventure. Embark on a gentle stroll to the heart of the village and delight in a tasty breakfast at one of the many local cafés, before heading to Lane Ends to discover historical landmarks such as Ridge Mill Bridge, Lund's Tower and Wainman's Pinnacle. Set about on a scenic walk along the North Yorkshire Moor Footpath, or head further into the Yorkshire Dales for a hike through Embsay Crag. Spend the day in the town of Skipton where you can tour Skipton Museum and the Craven Museum and Gallery, or watch as longboats travel along the pretty canal. See The Atom - Panopticon, or venture to Bingley to explore Gilstead Crag. Step back in time at the Museum of Rail Travel or spot exotic creatures at Tropical World, a fun day out for all. Indulge in an evening of wining and dining in the town of Keighley, home to an abundance of restaurants and bars, as well as a number of captivating attractions such as Cliffe Castle and the Keighley Bus Museum.
