Venture a short distance into Oakworth to stop for a pint at one of two friendly pubs, before purchasing any essentials at the local supermarket, embarking on a stroll through the idyllic Holden Park and trying your hand at putting at Branshaw Golf Club. The nearby village of Haworth is only a 20 minute walk away and home to the Brontë Parsonage Museum along with a myriad of antique shops, traditional pubs and the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Visit the market town of Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Dales and travel across to Harrogate for a lovely day out browsing the shops and visiting the gardens and tea rooms.
